DAY 1 | ARRIVAL – FREE DAY IN SAIGON


(Arrival flight: Please advise) A private car and guide will welcome you to Saigon, Vietnam and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation and check-in. Enjoy the night to have a look around the area on your own. ­­­­ Overnight at hotel in Saigon




DAY 2 | SAIGON HIGHLIGHTS – VESPA ADVENTURES


Tour start 09:00 Estimated tour completion 16:00 At 09:00, you will take in the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City. The first stop will be the War Remnants Museum. This museum is a collection of the machinery, weapons, graphic photos, and documentation of Vietnam’s wars with the both the French and Americans. After the museum, you’ll visit the Reunification Palace. It was here that the American led war ended on April 30 1975, when the North Vietnam Army invaded the Palace forcing the president to resign. From here, visit two of Ho Chi Minh’s finest examples of French colonial architecture: the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. After lunch, we drive to District 5, the location of Vietnam’s largest Chinatown, (known as Cholon). A bustling commercial center, Cholon is a fascinating maze of temples, restaurants, jade ornaments, and medicine shops. Here, you’ll visit the busy Binh Tay Market (even more crowded than Ben Thanh) and Thien Hau Pagoda, a pagoda dedicated to the goddess of the sea, popular with seafarers making thanks for their safe trip from China to Vietnam. Then, back to your hotel and have some rest before the Vespa Adventures Tour in the evening. Tour start/pickup time: 18:00 from Hotel Estimated tour completion 22:30 At 18:00, tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for the Saigon After Dark with Vespa Adventures Tour. This Saigon night tour is part night excursion, part street food adventure. Experience Saigon nightlife the way locals do, all from the back of a vintage Vespa scooter. To start off this Saigon night tour, enjoy drinks at our Vespa-themed café, Café Zoom, to watch “as the world goes by” (as said in the Lonely Planet guide book). Throughout the night, try a variety of food and drinks at 2 local restaurants and samplings of Saigon’s best authentic local food. Zoom past the famous must-see sights of Ho Chi Minh City while in the bustling traffic. We’ll also go to a Vietnamese-style coffee shop with special live music, and then wrap up the evening at an exciting music bar where the new generation of Vietnamese unwind and flaunt their unique styles. DAY 3 | CU CHI TUNNELS – BEN TRE


Pickup time: 09:00 from hotel in Saigon Estimated tour completion 14:00 At 10:00 in the morning, check out of hotel and drive to Cu Chi district. You will have a short film on the history of Cu Chi tunnels before walking in to the forest where the Tunnels located. The shortest one is 30 meters and longest one is 100 meters. In total the system measures 250 km, connecting several villages together. After experiencing the tunnels, take a break with some hot green tea boiled in pandan leaves and try with some steamed tapioca in the forest. Then our driver will pick you up and transfer to Mango Home Riverside in Ben Tre for check-in and relaxation. Enjoy the rest of the day in the Mekong Delta. Overnight at Mango Home Riverside




DAY 4 | BEN TRE – MO CAY – VUNG LIEM


At 10:00 in the morning, you will board your private cruise in Ben Tre and head to An Hoa River. Enjoy your welcome drink and peaceful scenery while crew members board your luggage. The cruise will take you to Phong Nam village in Giong Trom, where you will take the cycling trip through the Village to explore more of the local daily life. Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Continue to take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants. As you reach the big river, your sampan is waiting for you and lunch will be served on board. After lunch, your boat will bring you to My Long village where you will meet with a local family, Mr Sau Tuong, a former Vietcong soldier who survived two years fighting the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh. Now he and his wife live on making rice paper, which is the most famous specialty of My Long village. Have a chat with him and enjoy the crispy rice paper made by his wife, and observe the process of how it is made. Return to the boat and continue to cruise to Mo Cay canals. Stop for a visit at the coconut processing workshop where you can see how the locals utilize every bit of the coconut. Continue cruising to Vung Liem Canal where your sampan will dock for an overnight. Relax and freshen up for your cooking demonstration and dinner on board. The rest of the evening will be spent at your leisure. Overnight on Private Sampan




DAY 5 | VUNG LIEM – TRA ON – CAN THO


In the morning, breakfast will be served on board and you will start to visit the brick factory where you will see how bricks are made in the traditional method and mostly by hand. Continue to take the bike ride through green paddies, garden settings and local villages to explore the untouched beauty of this region. Head to the town of Vung Liem, continue on to visit the Cao Dai Temple in one of the most popular local religions, which is a combination of Taoism, Buddhism and Confucism. The boat will then cruise to Tra On on the Mang Thit River, on the way you will stop at Cai Nhum village where you will have a walk or bike ride through local villages and this will offer a good chance to observe the local culture and interact with the local people. Return to your boat and continue cruising to Can Tho. While on board, freshen up, and then head to the deck to observe the sun set, your private bar is always open and your dinner will be served afterwards. Enjoy fresh air while cruising on the tranquil water. The rest of the evening is spent at your leisure. Overnight on Private Sampan




DAY 6 | CAN THO – CAI RANG – NINH KIEU QUAY


Get up early in the morning and your breakfast will be ready out the Deck. Freshen up for the early boat trip to the spectacular Cai Rang floating market, where you will transfer to a smaller boat and mingle amongst the thousands of trading vessels. Feel free to buy yourself fruits or drinks from the local boats. After your market visit, return to your private cruise, and soak in your surroundings. Time to check out and you will be dropped off at Ninh Kieu quay in Can Tho. Transfer to Can Tho airport for connecting flight to Phu Quoc. (Expected flight: VN8014 VCA PQC 1210 1305) On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, a private car/driver will transfer to hotel in Phu Quoc for relaxation and check in. Overnight at hotel in Phu Quoc




DAY 7 & 8 | PHU QUOC ISLAND


Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy your own leisure. Overnight at hotel in Phu Quoc




DAY 9 | PHU QUOC – SAIGON


Enjoy your last day in Phu Quoc at hotel and then we will transfer to Phu Quoc International Airport for your flight to Saigon. (Expected flight: VN1822 PQC SGN 0845 0950) On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, a private car/driver will transfer to hotel in Saigon for relaxation and check in. Overnight at hotel in Saigon




DAY 10 | SAIGON – FLY TO HOME


Pickup time: TBA from hotel in Saigon. Our driver will pick you up and transfer to the airport for your home flight. (Departure flight: please advise) End of service!
