To attract tourists back to Vietnam, the Vietnamese Government has recently announced that the Vietnam E-Visa will be granted, potentially, worldwide!
E-Visa Convenience: Your Ticket to Explore Vietnam
Come and Go Vietnam is very excited to receive this news, as it will streamline the process for potential visitors to the country. Furthermore, the E-Visa, which was initially a 30-day single-entry Visa only, has been updated to allow for the option of applying for a 90-day multiple-entry visa as well! This news will surely increase the time that tourists can spend in Vietnam without having to jump over to Cambodia or other nearby countries.
As part of this announcement, the Government has also announced the extension of the Free Visa Exemption from 15 days to 45 days for the following countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Belarus. However, this new law does not affect other countries on a separate visa exemption (Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Chile, Thailand, etc.). They will continue with the previous 15-day, 21-day or 30-day respective exemption offered previously.
